The following is the rule for the AtCoder Race Ranking 2023. The standings for the 2023 season is available <a href="https://img.atcoder.jp/file/gp30/race2023.html">here</a>. If you participate in designated contests (mainly rated contests without rating upper bounds, details will be announced before each contest) and get into the top 30, you will be awarded GP30 scores (see the table below). AtCoder users will be ranked based on the sum of GP30 scores they get in 2023. The top 12 of Race Ranking will be invited to AtCoder World Tour Finals. In case of a tie, the one with a higher rating will qualify. AtCoder World Tour Finals is an onsite contest held in Japan in 2024. We will cover flights and hotels. We will allow online participation for those who cannot come to Japan due to some restrictions. In addition, we will also allow people under 18 to take part in the Finals. However, if they want to come to the onsite contest, they have to be accompanied by their parent or guardian at their own expense. If there are X contests (with GP30 scores) in total in 2023, you write Y of them (entirely or partially), and you get S points in the remaining X-Y contests, your total score will be modified to S / (X - Y) * X. This rule won't be applied for testers. - In case of a tie, the average score will be used. For example, if three people are tied in the first place, each of them will get (100 + 75 + 60) / 3 points. - Before each contest with GP30 scores, we will mention it in the contest announcement. - In case an onsite contest has a parallel round, we will "merge" those two standings and then compute the GP30 scores. - In case of a tie at the 12th place, the person with a higher rating as of Dec 31st, 2023 will qualify. In case even the ratings are the same, everyone tied at the 8th place (with points and ratings) will qualify. <font color="red">UPD (Sep 4th 2023)</font> - About Online Participation: It was not clear what "due to some restriction" means. We intend to allow online participation if and only if - you cannot enter Japan for reasons that are beyond your control - or you are under 18 and cannot by accompanied by your guardian. <font color="red">UPD (Nov 27th 2023)</font> - The number of finalists changed from 8 to 12.
