Input Data Failure in ABC360

posted:
Thank you for always participating in AtCoder. In ABC360 held on June 30, there was a constraint violation in the input file for problem B. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to those who participated. Normally, when there is such a data issue, the contest would be considered Unrated. However, due to the small number of affected participants in this case, we decided to make the contest Rated, except for those who submitted solutions that resulted in non-AC (Accepted) judge statuses due to the specific faulty test cases. For the users who remained Rated, the evaluation is equivalent to that of a contest without data issues, except for slight differences in the leaderboard during the contest. As the contest was valid and fair among the Rated users, we judged that the impact was extremely minimal and that keeping the contest Rated would better reflect the participants' true abilities. The following 218 participants were marked Unrated. We apologize for not being able to provide a rating despite your valuable participation. https://img.atcoder.jp/abc360/list.txt The decision to mark a contest as Rated or Unrated is made flexibly but primarily based on the following criteria: Whether the contest is valid as a competition Whether fairness is ensured (i.e., decisions do not favor or disadvantage specific groups of users) The extent of the impact Due to the nature of problem setting, such mistakes are inevitable, but we aim to minimize them as much as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience caused this time. We appreciate your continued support of AtCoder.
