posted:
We will host AtCoder World Tour Finals 2025 to crown the world champion of AtCoder players! AWTF2025 will invite a total of 24 contestants, 12 in the Algorithm division and 12 in the Heuristic division, to the finals to be held in Tokyo, Japan. We will cover flights and hotels. The finalists will be determined based on the results of AtCoder's contests during the year 2024. The schedule for the finals has not yet been finalized, but will be announced by the mid-2024. The method for determining the finalists is as follows. ### Algorithm Division The finalists will be determined based on the results of AtCoder Grand Contest. If you get the top 30 places in AGCs, you will get GP30 scores. The top 12 with the highest total GP30 scores will be invited to the finals. ### Heuristic Division The finalists will be determined based on the results of AtCoder Heuristic Contest. If you get the top 30 places in AHCs, you will get GP30 scores. The top 12 with the highest total GP30 scores will be invited to the finals. [Current Ranking](https://img.atcoder.jp/file/gp30/race2024H.html) ### Detailed Rules If you participate in designated contests (mainly rated contests without rating upper bounds that starts in 2024, details will be announced before each contest) and get into the top 30, you will be awarded GP30 scores (see the table below). GP30 Score Table | Rank | Score | | --- | --- | | 1 | 100 | | 2 | 75 | | 3 | 60 | | 4 | 50 | | 5 | 45 | | 6 | 40 | | 7 | 36 | | 8 | 32 | | 9 | 29 | | 10 | 26 | | 11 | 24 | | 12 | 22 | | 13 | 20 | | 14 | 18 | | 15 | 16 | | 16 | 15 | | 17 | 14 | | : | : | | 30 | 1 | - The total GP30 score will be modified a bit in case of losing the right to participate in the contests due to involvement in problem setting (writers for AGCs, and writers/testers/tool-developers for AHCs). If there are X contests with GP30 scores in total in 2024, you are involved in problem setting for Y of them, and you get S points in the remaining X-Y contests, your total score will be modified to S / (X - Y) * X. This rule won't be applied for testers of AGCs. - In case of a tie, the average score will be used. For example, if three people are tied in the first place, each of them will get (100 + 75 + 60) / 3 points. - In case of a tie at the 12th place, the person with a higher algorithm/heuristic rating as of Dec 31st, 2024 will qualify. In case even the ratings are the same, everyone tied at the 12th place (with points and ratings) will qualify. - Unlike in past years, AWTF2025 will not allow online participation. If a finalist cannot come to Japan due to some restrictions, the runner-up participant will be invited to the Finals. - We will allow people under 18 to take part in the Finals. However, in such a case, they have to be accompanied by their parent or guardian at their own expense.
